Who are Affiliates, Associates and Dealers?
A Sales Associate and Dealer represent the core purpose of Excel Supplements to help strengthen customer relationships and introduce the product to a larger audience of potential customers. Predominantly, a Sales Associate or Dealer is known as a positive spokesperson, who helps create brand awareness. These individuals are strategically placed throughout the country based on their value, in terms of qualifying factors.
We look to our Sales Associates and Dealers to actively promote our brand and products. Through this program, we will provide you with the initial tools you need to thrive and create a strong client base.
Sales Associate and Dealer requirements are aligned with our business process, and may include, but are not limited to:
- Helping us create awareness to unreached audiences through promotions on social networks (blogs, social media posts, videos, etc.). An example of such content would be posting a selfie with our products, with your horse, with your pup, etc. using our company hashtag #TeamExcelSupplements.
- Creating a new client base of horse and dog lovers in your sector of the country. The more awareness and education you spread about the wonderful Excel Supplements product line, the more success you will have as a Sales Associate.
- Share brand messages on social networks. This is the most basic Sales Associate requirement. We ask that you actively help us promote at least four times per month on one or more platform, using proper tagging and hashtags. Here are just a few examples:
- Social sharing: photos and videos shared from the Excel Supplements pages (at minimum, we ask you to post at least four times a month).
- Original content: social posts from you about the Excel Supplements brand.
- Shares on the content produced or shared by the Sales Associate.
Sales Associates and Dealers are each required to hit milestones throughout the year to stay in their prospective discount rank.
Dealers will have access to their commission in wallet credit. This allows you to earn your commission through digital credits online when someone uses your link. These credits can be used to buy dealer products at a 20% discount. To reach this rank you must either order 2 cases of dealer product or have customer online sales at a minimum of $1000 from the contract sign date. This is the minimum amount of sales per year that is expected from you as a Dealer to receive the benefits of our program.
Sales Associates will have access to their commission in wallet credit or direct deposit. To reach this rank you must earn $11,500 in sales 12 months from the contract sign date. This is the minimum amount of sales per year that is expected from you as a Sales Associate.
With either of these minimums you will be placed into the Silver category of our Sales Department. If you fail to hit $11,500 within 12 months, you will be opted out of the program and receive a customer appreciation discount of 5%. Our program runs on a 12-month term with Diamond, Gold and Silver levels and specific guidelines for success! The overall sale marks expected for each level are based on a full calendar year.
All Sales Associates and Dealers will have access to our Excel Supplements information drive where they can find all the educational tools needed to succeed in this program. Monthly educational and selling sessions will be held with a member of our internal team to insure that you have everything you need to continue to build your business.
How to Process Sales
There are two ways any Sales Associate/Dealer can conduct sales and collect commission/credits
Website Sales
Website sales are the easiest way to confirm that a customer is purchasing each month for their animal. Through our online sales program your customer will use your /link on the end of our website and will be linked to your online affiliate account. This will allow your customer to benefit from autoship, ExcelOne and so much more! This method also protects you as the sales person. If there are any issues with your customers packaging, product or shipping our 1-800 line and customer service representatives can look the customer up in our online system and give them the necessary information and help! This helps eliminate any confusion or damage that could happen to the customer or product!
Steps for Online Sales
- Send your customer your order link (www.excelsupplements.com/link)
- Have the customer order directly from the site
- Receive an email confirmation that the sale has been completed
- Login to your Affiliate Account on our website and view your referrals
- Turn your credits/referrals into a coupon code for our website!
In person sales
Do you attend events where you want to sell Excel Supplements products directly? Then this option is for you! Members of our sales team have direct access to dealer pricing through the back end of our website under their affiliate account. All dealer pricing reflects a 20% discount and can be ordered in case quantities at the prices below:
What if I want to sell in person and online?
Don’t worry! We have an option for that too! Both options 1 and 2 listed above can be used toward your overall sale amount for the year.
For example: Maybe you have 5 customers that want to order directly from the website and have our system drop ship to them, but you also have a few events coming up that you would like to have product on hand for.
This is no problem with our system! Use the credits that have been generated from your online sales to purchase dealer products. Login to your Affiliate account, go to your virtual wallet and select “add new wallet credit”, then select the referrals you would like to use for your purchase. The online system will generate you a coupon code that can be used to purchase any of the dealer products at a discounted price.
Levels of Sales Associates, Dealers
Silver Sales Associate/Dealer
Silver Sales Associates are positive workers that are placing Excel Supplements in the hands of many customers. These newer members are still working hard to build their customer base but have shown “excelling” promise for a Gold status in our program.
Benefits:
- 20% commission on all sales
- Monthly session with a member of our Marketing Team to discuss and aid in sales performance
- Access to the Sales drive containing marketing and educational materials
Expectations:
- Minimum of $1000 in sales per month
- 4-6 social media posts a month about Excel Supplements products
- Attendance at regional events to promote the Excel Supplements brand
Gold Sales Associate/Dealer
Gold Sales Associates and Dealers are hardworking and have a substantial customer base. These Sales Associates have a high number of sales and are actively spreading brand awareness.
Benefits:
- 22% commission on all sales
- Direct deposit commission options are available
- Monthly workshops with Excel Supplements Veterinarian and Business Development Manager
- 50 printed brochures or flyers
- Access to the Sales drive containing marketing and educational materials
- Top Gold level sales associate in a calendar year will receive a $500.00 bonus
Expectations:
- Minimum of $23,000 in sales for one year
- 100 new emails for the CRM list
- 6-9 social media posts a month about Excel Supplements products
- Attendance at regional events to promote the Excel Supplements brand
Diamond Sales Associate/Dealer
Diamond Sales Associates and Dealers are at the peak of their performance and are held to the highest standard of the sales team. With a large number of sales, efficiently spreading brand awareness and having many Autoship customers.
Benefits:
- 25% commission on all sales
- Direct deposit commission options are available
- Monthly workshops with Excel Supplements Veterinarian and a member of our Marketing Team
- 100 Business cards and 50 printed brochures or flyers
- Access to the Sales drive containing marketing and educational materials
- Top Diamond level sales associate in a calendar year will receive a $750.00 bonus
Expectations:
- Minimum $46,000 in sales per year
- 200 new emails for the CRM list
- 9-12 social media posts a month about Excel Supplements products
