Morgan Kennedy's journey began in Traverse City, Michigan, where her love for horses ignited at a young age. Starting her competitive career at just 12 years old, Morgan traded barn work for opportunities to show horses. Her dedication quickly paid off, as she advanced to competing in High Junior Jumpers and Grand Prix events by age 15. Her early success included multiple national titles, solidifying her reputation as a promising rider.
Career Development
To pursue her dream professionally, Morgan moved to Illinois, where she spent two years breaking young horses and competing in various hunter and jumper classes, from Baby Greens to 1.50 meters. Seeking to expand her horizons, she relocated to the East Coast in 2011. There, she worked with Olympian Nona Garson and later transitioned to managing and riding for a top sales barn. This role involved competing European imports in Young Jumper classes and National Grand Prix events.
Educational Pursuits and Professional Growth
In 2017, Morgan furthered her expertise by studying veterinary technology at Miller and Associates. Her commitment to correct horse care and management complements her riding skills, enhancing her comprehensive approach to training.
Current Endeavors
Today, Morgan Kennedy runs her own business, offering freelance riding and training services. Her work spans various levels, from novice riders to seasoned competitors, in North Salem, NY, and Wellington, FL.
