Morgan Kennedy is originally from Traverse City, Michigan. She had a passion for horses as a little girl and was determined to make her dreams of becoming a top Show Jumping rider come true. Morgan started seriously competing on the Hunter Jumper circuit at the age of 12, trading work in the barn, for horses to show. Hard work paid off as she quickly worked her way up the ranks, showing in the High Junior Jumpers and Grand Prixs by 15. After winning multiple national titles in her junior years, Morgan decided to make the sport her career and moved to Illinois. There she spent two years breaking babies and competing hunters and jumpers from baby greens to 1.50. Deciding to broaden her network, in 2011 she moved to the East Coast, riding and managing for Olympian Nona Garson. Eventually taking a job grooming and managing for a top sales barn, which quickly turned into riding and competing European imports in Young Jumper classes through National Grand Prix.
With a passion for not only riding, but also correct horse care and management, she decided to further her education as a veterinary technician at Miller and Associates in 2017.
Currently, Morgan has her own business based in North Salem, NY and Wellington, FL, free lance riding and training, horses and riders of all levels.
